The Book of Ruth Sermon Series | Starts 10 AM Sunday, January 17, 2021
We sense that the Lord is highlighting the Book of Ruth for this season. Starting Sunday, January 17, we’ll begin a series of messages that unpacks this book and applies its lessons to our lives for THIS moment. Some of the themes we’ll explore are the Grace to Return, the Boaz Company, and How to Change the Atmosphere.
Let Us Return
Everything that God did in Ruth’s life hinged on a pivotal moment of surrender when she decided to return:
Ruth replied, “Do not plead with me to abandon you, to turn back from following you. For where you go, I will go, and where you stay, I will stay. Your people will be my people, and your God my God. (Ruth 1:16)
Ruth returned to a place she’d never been but was born to be. This is the moment to return to our first love and to our position in Christ. Come, and let us return to the Lord.
