Beginnings
In 1949, 100 years after the Gold Rush, students from Glad Tidings Bible Institute in San Francisco came to the VFW Hall in downtown Novato on Sunday afternoons to preach the gospel. New Life was originally founded as Northland Assembly of God and moved to its current location after breaking ground on the building in 1957.
