It’s the time of year again when we all move our clocks forward. The result is that we gain another hour, and this means more time outside in the light!
What would happen if we all were to “spring forward” spiritually? During the Awakening Conference this past weekend, the Lord spoke to me that this is a time to be moving forward and not backward. People are going to leap forward in their walk with God.
Now I stand more encouraged than ever in this truth: the One who promised will fulfill everything He has said, just as the earth causes the seeds in it to spring forth (Isaiah 61:11). It’s time for spiritual advancement! It’s time to shake off the slumber of unbelief and stagnation, spend more time in His light, take new ground, and walk in a fresh anointing in His Presence. New things are springing forth out of the earth, and this speaks of us!
Spring Forward! You can leap over obstacles that have held you back. David said, “By my God I have leaped over a wall” (Psalm 18:29). You can see a breakthrough of healing. Isaiah 58:8 says, “Then your light shall break forth like the morning, Your healing shall spring forth speedily.” Isaiah 35:6 says “the lame will leap like the deer”. These verses are declaring that God is going to cause you to spring forward, experiencing a leap forward in your walk!
As we gain more daylight this weekend, remember that this is a time of increase of His light in our lives as well. When it’s light outside, it’s so much easier to wake up out of sleep and rise up for the day. There is grace to shake off sleepiness and rise up in Christ Jesus today!
Receive strength and grace from these two portions of scripture:
– Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. (Isaiah 60:1)
– “And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.” (Romans 13:11-12)
