The fashion world changes very fast, and I personally have a hard time keeping up with all the current trends.  Is that shirt a spring/summer or more of a fall/winter style? I get so confused by it sometimes. But I do enjoy it when old styles re-emerge, and I still have some of the original gear hanging in my closet. However, there is a heavenly wardrobe that never goes out of style.

Have you ever seen the red carpet interviews where they ask the celebrities the question: “Who are you wearing”?  They usually name some famous clothing designer, but today I would like to ask you the same question. “Who are you wearing”?

Romans 13:14 (New King James Version)

14 But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.

We are commanded to put on the Lord Jesus Christ. We are to wear Jesus Christ with our words, deeds and attitudes each and every day for the whole world to see. The world will truly know we are Christians by our love. Let’s not camouflage our lives by wearing anything or anybody other than Jesus.

Colossians 3:12-14 (The Message)

12-14So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It’s your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be
without it.

Kindness, humility, quiet strength, and discipline never go out of fashion.  Forgiveness looks great no matter what season we are in, and Love completes every outfit you own.

Lord Jesus help us all to never leave the house without first clothing ourselves with you,
remembering that we are represent you here are Earth every day. Help us love and forgive this world as totally and completely as you love and forgive us.
