Inconceivable – Rachel Klinge

Have you ever heard something that was just “too good to be true”? Or have you ever had a thought that was so beyond your knowledge base, reasoning skills and experience that you assume it is crazy? It’s literally inconceivable!

The scripture says, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed those things to us by His Spirit.” This is telling us that God doesn’t want to keep the endless treasures available to us a secret. He wants us to be able understand His love that goes beyond all we could conceive of.

Isaiah 54:2 tells us it is time to start thinking big! To make our decisions based not upon what we currently possess, but upon where we are going and what we will possess. Therefore, we can go ahead and expect great things from God and attempt great things for God. We can “enlarge the place of our tent” by clearing the grounds and getting junk out of the way. We can “stretch out the curtains of our dwellings” by making room for more and putting structure in place to hold the harvest. We will not retain what we don’t make room for. We can “give it all we got” by refusing to hold back and play-it-safe. It’s time to dream big, to conceive the unimaginable! We can “lengthen our cords” through broadening our reach more than ever before by becoming a servant to all. And last, but not least, we can “strengthen our stakes” by living the word of God and exercising ourselves to godliness.

Remember, God is able to accomplish infinitely more than our ability to ask or imagine. It’s time to seek heaven and think heaven, to put our mind where our heart is.
