The NLC Prayer Room is Now Open!
On August 27, 2017, we dedicated and opened the NLC Prayer Room. This date so happened to be the 290th anniversary of the 100-year Moravian prayer meeting launch on August 27, 1727.
As we celebrate our 60th anniversary this year, we are reaffirming the call on our house to be an Antioch church that is fueled by prayer and worship. We are so grateful that the Lord has brought us together as a church family for such a time as this.May it be said of our lives that “the fire on the altar has never gone out.”
Our prayer room is designed to create multiple opportunities each week for our church family to continue in prayer.
How to Engage
There are several ways to participate in the Prayer Room.
- Pop-in during the weekdays during the hours of 8:30 AM – 5 PM for some prayer, worship, or quiet time.
- Join a prayer meeting. Check out the calendar of prayer meetings (below) and commit to participating in one of them. “Prayer Blocks” refer to led prayer meetings, and “Prayer hours” are individuals committed to praying during that time.
- Lead a prayer meeting (prayer block). If you are interested in leading a prayer block once a week, email [email protected] let us know the theme and weekly time that you are interested in.

Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. (Isaiah 56:7)
