The Vision/Dream

What I saw was a man in a city in the middle of the night. He was running, trying to catch the last subway train. Above his head was a large “thought bubble” (like in the comic books). Running towards the subway station, God spoke to him and told him that he was going to catch a train and make his destination.

So he calmed down and wasn’t worried anymore. As he walked down the stairs of the station, he was shocked to see that the station was completely full of people in the middle of the night. He was even more shocked to see that the train he was supposed to catch was about to leave.

He ran down the stairs and tried to push all the people aside, but they pushed him back. He tried again, but they pushed him back again. As he was being pushed back the “thought bubble” that was over his head was getting smaller and smaller. To his sadness he saw the last train of the night pull off and leave him! When the train left the “thought bubble” over his head completely disappeared.

The man found an empty bench and gave up. He sat down and began to weep. Some time passed, and as he was still weeping a bright white light fill the whole station. When the light dispersed, a SILVER train appeared out of nowhere! The man looked shocked and dumbfounded! As he stared at the train he heard the voice of the Lord say to him “You are anointed to catch this train, this train is specifically for you. I said you would catch a train, so here it is!” Still with a shocked look on his face the man stood up and slowly started walking towards the train.
This time as he walked, the “thought bubble” began to get larger and larger. toward the train, the people were divided and a clear path was made for him! As he reached the doors, they opened and he entered. The Silver train departed and took him home!

The Meaning/Interpretation

As God was showing this vision to me He was explaining certain meaning. The man represents us…he body of Christ. God told me this was for his sons and daughters! The “thought bubble” represents the dreams and promises that God has spoken into our lives! All the people in the train station represent all the obstacles that we face! God gave me many examples of what we face: trials, bondage, past failures, fear, doubt, lack of trust…even believing the lies people have said over us about how we will never succeed or accomplish our goals. God put in my heart to mention that a lot of us have let the current economy hinder our dreams! I feel like many of us have put them aside, for another day.

The silver train represents redemption! Silver is a symbol of redemption throughout scripture. God is saying that He wants to redeem the dreams over our lives. He wants to redeem the words that have been spoken over our lives. He is saying it’s time to remember who we are and remember that we are called to greatness!

The thought bubble got smaller and smaller as he faced opposition (the people pushing him back). The more struggles we face, the easier it is i to focus on the problems and lose sight of the bigger picture – what God says!

The overall summary: God has placed dreams and prophetic words in our hearts. As we face trials and opposition, its easy to get distracted and discouraged and lose sight of who we are, who we’re called to be, and where we are going. God is saying its time to dream big again! He is always faithful to his word. Whatever He promised He will fulfill it! Stand on his word and believe it will happen! Things may look rough now, but God says things are not going to stay the same. Start preparing, because things are about to get better! The man in the vision doubted that God would come through on his word, because everything looked so impossible. God knows what He’s doing, and His timing is always just right!

The light of His Presence is filling the place that you are stationed. The Silver Train of redeemed promises and prophecies is arriving. Here the call of the Lord: “all aboard.” Rise up off of the bench and get on board with His destiny!
