‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ -Jeremiah 33:3
The church around the world is getting “synched” up with the Hebrew calendar and the tremendous teachings that come forth from the various festivals of Leviticus 23. We don’t need to keep the feasts, but we can learn from them.
I normally do not strive to look for signs, and my clinical training as a psychotherapist causes me to have a light touch with phenomena for their own sake. However, I am married to an intercessor, my given name is Mordecai, so I can be arrested by God through spiritual sight.
Several years ago, between fall and winter, I began to notice numbers appearing in groups on clocks…5:55 am, 11:11 pm and then one morning I was awakened at 3:33. I recognized that scripture from Jeremiah that has been tagged “God’s phone number”:
‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you
great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
I began to ask God to prepare me for what He wanted to show Katharine and me. A few days before the end of 2009, I asked our bookkeeper to cut a check for $333 to Glory of Zion in Texas. We were on our way to be ordained by Chuck Pierce, a mentor and prophetic voice in our lives. When I went to my car that afternoon on a coffee break, my car clock read 3:33!
When we arrived in Texas the hotel desk clerk offered us a room upgrade. “It’s my favorite room, and so easy to remember” she said. She smiled and handed us the key to room 333!
At the conference, Chuck Pierce and Robert Heidler masterfully “tag-teamed” to let us know that God has us in His view. They encouraged us to “look again” to see as He sees.
On the evening of our ordination, the speaker used the scripture Jeremiah 33:3 to show the congregation that God would be causing us to see in a new way that year and in the entire upcoming decade.
This decade (that began in 5770 on the Hebrew, 2010 in the Roman calendar) is marked by a new way of seeing—God is wanting us to see Him and life through a new set of eyes…His!
One year later, we dropped our son at the airport for his semester studying in London…when we returned to the house I checked Chuck’s website…on it was a live broadcast with Dutch Sheets proclaiming, “we are in a Jeremiah 33:3 season—watch for God to release a Third Great Awakening!!!”
As we head into the Chanukah/Christmas season and the New Year, ask the Lord for His favor in seeing Him and your life in a new way.
